Coming from a STEM household, finding her passion for Finance was a rocky road. The critical moment for Emily was running a startup during the pandemic selling re-usable face masks. That experience changed her outlook on Business as a whole and sparked her curiosity in Finance. Emily dove straight into research, reading many Warren Buffet and investment strategy books which motivated her to continue learning more about the industry. Dedicated to learning, Emily decided HIM would be the perfect environment for an academic challenge and aligned with her career objectives.
