Hugo's early years were shaped by hockey, football, basketball, and golf, where he still battles the occasional shank off the tee. After his first semester in Cegep studying Life Sciences, he realized his passion lay in applying quantitative skills to finance. He joined the program to collaborate with driven finance enthusiasts and gain hands-on experience in pitching ideas. Hugo chose the Fixed Income sector for its breadth, allowing him to invest across industries and the capital structure while deepening his understanding of macroeconomics. In his free time, he enjoys learning German, studying card counting, and spending time with friends.
